Education with
Solid Outcomes

The concepts of science cannot be confined to the 2-dimentional limitations of a piece of paper or the boundaries of the bindings of a book. Teaching science requires engaging young minds through involvement of all the senses in tandem with guided exploration of precepts, properties and outcomes.

As science educators ourselves, we were constantly looking for ways to bring science "alive" for our students. We observed that in order to get students engaged, we had to get outside the book! Our journey into hands-on methods of teaching science have evolved outside the classroom, to camps and seminars and onto curriculum and units development, concluding with continuing education for teachers themselves.

We hope you will take a few minutes to explore our website to see what Seela Science Uncommonly Sensible Science© has to offer you.

Dave and Rozann Seela, founders of Seela Science

Dave Seela

Author

David Seela spent 36 years in the public school classroom, and is very in much aware of the challenges and rewards that go along with the title of “Teacher”. He and his wife started Seela Science over 25 years ago. Their goal at that time was to make science more understandable for elementary and middle school teachers. With this goal in mind, Dave started writing lessons, using common, down-to-earth explanations. Over 2000 lessons later Seela Science is still helping teachers understand science.

Rozann Seela
